Brass to Gold (Nugget)

​We are sad to share that If Only Farm and Joan, one our longest boarders, lost a very dear old friend in late January. Nugget (Brass to Gold) passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at the age of 25.  Nugget was a wonderful equine partner to Joan for 18 years and she feels blessed to have had so many great years with her, and is very grateful to Sue for introducing her to Nugget back in 2001. 
Nugget was a favorite around the farm and, under Joan's superb tutelage, she taught many of our smallest students and campers how to ride. 
Truly one of the kindest mares to live at the farm - Nugget will be deeply missed.
