Jack Minteer of Rose Hill Ranch will be teaching a one-day clinic at If Only Farm on Feb 15, 2025 9am - 4pm. With Jack’s help, participants will work on developing better communication with their horse through understanding and trust building. Jack will share tools to refine communication and work through problems. There will be six one-hour lesson slots and participants may choose to work with their horse on the ground or under saddle, or both. Auditors are welcome and encouraged!
Jack has been riding and working with horses his entire life, learning from his father horse trainer Dave Minteer and a career in bull riding and rodeo. Jack and his wife Emma run an active horse training and lesson program at their farm Rose Hill Ranch in Naples, NY, home also to several mustangs Emma has trained for the Mustang Makeover competition. These horses have become central to their veteran therapy program. Rose Hill Ranch regularly hosts rodeos and clinics and their daughter Riley Jane has become quite a well known trick rider, exhibiting at local and regional events.
Clinic cost: $140 ($80 non-refundable deposit)
Auditing fee: $25
Stall: $50
Auditors, dress warm and bring a chair.
